Natural Shaving
"Our vision at NASH is a future where our everyday products are natural, affordable, and free of unnecessary plastic waste. We're starting with shaving."

Innovations
Biocomposite
Biocomposite—also called "liquid wood" —is a revolutionary bio-raw material. We use biocomposite in the manufacture of NASH razors and the station. Biocomposite is produced in Scandinavia from natural wood fibers and bio-based polymers. The wood fibers are a byproduct of wood processing, meaning no new trees need to be felled to produce biocomposite.
In short: With Biocomposite, we have succeeded in using technology to bring us humans back to nature – we at NASH think that's brilliant!

Biocomposite is made from renewable raw materials, which means it's much more environmentally friendly. It also has a carbon footprint that's up to 75% lower than conventional plastics like ABS.

Biocomposite also has advantages in terms of processing and properties, as it has similar properties to wood and is therefore durable, lightweight and stable.
Grass paper
At NASH, we'd love to deliver our products stark naked. Of course, that's not possible, so we use grass paper as our packaging material . Grass paper is an innovative alternative to conventional paper and cardboard. It's made in Germany from grass fibers that come from specially cultivated meadows and are not used for food production.
In short: With grass paper, we have also succeeded in using technology to bring people closer to nature - that makes us happy at NASH!

The production of grass paper is much more environmentally friendly than the production of conventional paper and cardboard because less water and energy are required.

Grass paper also produces significantly lower CO2 emissions. Grass paper is biodegradable and can therefore be recycled or disposed of without negative impact on the environment.
design
The NASH razor was designed to be not only the best razor for the planet, but also the most beautiful. Because we believe that protecting the environment should also be fun . Something that evokes positive emotions and something you can be proud of.
Our goal: The first razor that is not hidden in the cupboard, but a design object in the bathroom - true to the motto:
Make a statement.

NASH's design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional. The razor's ergonomics were particularly important to us to ensure a perfect grip. The razor should be beautifully designed, yet comfortable to hold.

Together with two product designers from Hamburg, we have developed a revolutionary approach to combine the aesthetics of the razor with its functionality and the new raw material biocomposite.

What we are working on
Innovation pipeline
The production of razor blades places very high technical demands on the raw materials used to guarantee a perfect and comfortable shave. However, bio-based raw materials have different properties, such as tolerance for deviations, compared to conventional plastics. This makes the production of high-quality replaceable blade heads from purely bio-based raw materials currently impossible. Therefore, there is a lot of research and development to be done!
With your help and the proceeds from NASH sales, we can continue to deliver innovations to further revolutionize the shaving industry…let's get started!
Here you will find an overview of what we work on with our partners every day:
- High-performance biocomposites for use in interchangeable blade heads
- A unique locking system for interchangeable blades
- Blade cleaning for even longer durability
- Organic shaving cosmetics for men and women

The story of
"We were tired of paying a fortune for replacement blades. So we developed our own branded razor."
