Specifically, this means that we mix byproducts such as wood fibers with bio-based polymers—such as those made from recycled vegetable oils—dry them, and process them into small chips. We then refer to these as "liquid wood" because, with heat and pressure, they become viscous and can be used as an alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics.
