Safe, convenient, and at a fair price, because we don't sponsor expensive footballers. On the contrary, we plant a tree for every order.

You can use NASH shaving soap for about 2-3 months, depending on frequency of use and beard growth. In our tests, we used it to replace 1-2 bottles of shaving cream. Tip: If you let the soap dry and then store it in a dry place, it will last longer and stay hygienically clean.

NASH uses only recyclable packaging and avoids unnecessary materials. The packaging is made of grass paper and can be disposed of with the recycling. We avoid the use of plastic tape or other synthetic materials, as far as possible to ensure safe delivery and the quality of your products.

The ingredients are printed on all product packaging. You can also find the ingredients on our website on the respective product detail page under "Learn more" -> "Ingredients." If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!

NASH shaving soap is generally suitable for sensitive skin, as it is based on natural ingredients. However, please check the ingredients carefully for possible intolerances and consult your dermatologist if in doubt.

Yes, NASH packaging can be disposed of with waste paper as it is made from grass paper and does not contain any coatings.

Please dispose of used blades safely in your general waste. Used blades are contaminated with various bodily fluids and should not be recycled. It would be unfortunate if our recycled beverage bottles also contained parts of used razors. Therefore, at NASH, we have focused on avoiding plastic from the very beginning.

The NASH razor improves the world by using bio-based materials in all products and packaging wherever possible, eliminating unnecessary plastic waste. We also plant trees for every order and collect plastic waste in the world's most impacted areas. At NASH, our mission is not just to be "neutral," but to develop products with a positive environmental footprint.

"Environmentally positive" means that a product is not just "neutral" or "environmentally friendly," but also actively contributes to improving the planet. To achieve this, NASH uses innovative, bio-based materials like liquid wood and produces natural shaving products with organic ingredients. We also eliminate unnecessary packaging and use grass paper. Another positive aspect: NASH products are attractively designed and a joy to use. For every order, we plant one tree. These measures result in a positive overall environmental footprint.

Biocomposite is a bio-based high-tech material made from wood processing residues. Specifically, this means that we mix byproducts such as wood fibers with bio-based polymers—such as those made from recycled vegetable oils—dry them, and process them into small chips. We then refer to these as "liquid wood" because, with heat and pressure, they become viscous and can be used as an alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics. We use them to make the handle, button, and station of our razors, among other things. It's truly a fascinating material!

No. Biocomposite is manufactured in Scandinavia from natural wood fibers and bio-based polymers. The wood fibers are a byproduct of wood processing, so no new trees need to be felled for biocomposite. We essentially recycle the leftovers from the wood industry and turn them into something new.

Grass paper is a sustainable alternative to conventional paper and cardboard, as it is made from grass fibers, enabling greater resource efficiency and CO2 reduction. It is biodegradable and recyclable, resulting in better environmental sustainability. Our grass paper and the grass raw material come from Germany, further improving its positive environmental footprint.

At Nash, it's all about the bigger picture. Organic raw materials, eco-packaging, and social commitment are at the heart of our brand. For example, we use liquid wood instead of rubber for the handles and grass paper instead of blister packs or plasticized cardboard. Only 1.8g of plastic goes into every NASH razor. Unfortunately, this is (still) unavoidable if you want to enjoy a high-quality shave. For this minimal, unavoidable plastic content, we generously support projects to collect plastic waste in regions where plastic waste poses a major burden to the environment and people. This makes us not just plastic-neutral, but plastic-positive.

Our top priority at NASH is: No unnecessary plastic waste. That's why we've developed the first environmentally friendly razor that not only protects the environment but also looks great and enables a perfect shave. Most parts of the razor are made from either renewable biocomposite or metal. But even we're not perfect. The production of razor blades places very high technical demands on the raw materials used to guarantee a perfect and comfortable shave. However, bio-based raw materials have different properties, for example, in terms of tolerance, compared to conventional plastics, which currently makes the production of high-quality razor blades impossible. Therefore, a minimal amount of 1.8g of plastic must be processed into every NASH razor. Unfortunately, this is currently (still) unavoidable if you want to enjoy a high-quality shave. To compensate for this minimal amount of plastic, which is unavoidable, we generously support projects to collect plastic waste in regions where plastic waste poses a major burden to the environment and people. This means we are not only plastic-neutral, but even plastic-positive.

No. The razor is designed to provide a long-lasting, high-quality shave. If the razor were compostable, you'd want to throw it away frequently. Then the razor would begin to dissolve upon contact with warm water in the bathroom. That's not good for a safe and clean shave. The razor is gentle and made from organic materials, so we've largely avoided conventional plastic.

Lakeside Brands is a company based in Lindau, Germany. It is one of the investors in NASH and is helping us, as a small startup, revolutionize the razor industry.
